  • I do have wonderful professional artists I can bring in by request, especially if you are imagining something more complex or fantasy inspired, such as anime inspired looks, Frankenstein style characters, or other imaginative transformations.

That said, my passion is photographing you. The part of you and your story you wish to remember. For narrative work, hair and makeup are often not needed, and many sessions are intentionally a come as you are experience.

If there is something you feel unsure about showing, we will talk about it during your consultation. I listen closely to what you wish to express, and we go from there.

  • No. You do not need to lose weight, and you do not need to know how to pose.

I am skilled at listening to you and your body and finding shapes that flatter you exactly as you are right now. Loving yourself and your image is work that only you can do, and I know our world does not make that easy.

What I can do is see you. Truly. I love people, and I love their stories. That is not a platitude. It is my passion and my strength to notice beauty, honesty, and power in you, no matter your age, weight, gender, or how many wrinkles you have.

I listen carefully, and I reflect back what I see through my lens.

If you are unsure, let’s talk. Fill out the form below and I’ll reach out to connect.

  • As long as you need. Every session is different. Most sessions range from 1.5 to 3 hours.

  • My favorite sessions are the ones that are meaningful to you.

We may create a world together in my studio located in Evanston, Illinois, or travel outdoors to connect with the earth. Sessions can also take place in your home or at a location that holds personal meaning for you.

Locations within Illinois are included. I do travel as well. Please see my travel page for more details.

  • How much can I expect to spend?

Some clients choose to spend $650, while most invest in larger collections. Most clients spend between $2,500 and $10,000, depending on what they wish to create. Please see my pricing under each offering to see a more detailed breakdown.

  • Here is my honest answer. I do not believe in being unphotogenic.

A camera reflects how we feel in our body and in the space in that moment. When someone feels uncomfortable or unsure, the camera often shows that. This is not a flaw. It is information.

I am a professional storyteller, trauma informed yoga educator, and space holder. I listen closely to you and to your body. Together, we create shapes, movement, and stillness that are true to you in the moment. If there is something you tend to do in photos that you do not love, we look at it together and adjust. I have the tools and the awareness to do that.

The truth is this. You are not unphotogenic. You may just not have been photographed by someone who understands the nervous system and knows how to respond to what you are experiencing in real time.

This work does ask something of you. It requires openness and a willingness to try. It is a two way dance. If that feels aligned and this work calls to you, I can hold this space with you.

  • You are always welcome to come exactly as you are. Many sessions are intentionally simple and grounded. That said, there are optional enhancements available if they support the story you want to tell.

    Hair and makeup
Professional hair and makeup are available by request for those who desire it, or want fantasy additions.

    Specialty effects and fantasy elements
For clients imagining something more elaborate, sessions may include options such as smoke bombs, extensive makeup or prosthetics, and custom fantasy costumes created in collaboration with trusted artists. Depending on the depth of your session, the number of costumes, or the complexity of the set, these elements may be included or applied toward your overall purchase.

    Videography and drone footage
Available for premium sessions and retreats.

    Grief and ritual support
Offered in partnership with death doula and rite of passage guide Lana Smithner. This option is designed to gently honor grief, transition, and remembrance and may include custom tea blends with kid friendly options, a post session picnic, a private consultation with Lana and me, ritual support or guided passage meditation, and one printed image.

    Additional options
Up to two people may participate in a session. Additional outfits, people, or locations can be added. Customized and hand crafted photobooks, prints, and artwork are available for purchase.

All add ons are optional and guided by what feels supportive and aligned for you. We will talk through possibilities during your consultation and shape the experience together.

  • One additional person may be included in your session fee if you wish to be photographed together.

For larger families or group experiences, I create custom pricing based on the scope of the session. Please reach out for a quote.

If you would like to bring someone along for support rather than to be photographed, I generally recommend keeping the space between just the two of us. This helps maintain a soft, open environment without additional outside voices.

  • I focus on narrative portraiture rather than traditional event coverage.

I do enjoy photographing elopements, polycules, fantasy or themed gatherings, LARP weekends among friends, and non traditional family or lover sessions. I also offer portrait style booths at select events, creating individual portraits and one group image rather than full event coverage.

For the most part, traditional weddings or events that require documenting an entire timeline are not where my work lives. My focus is on intentional portrait experiences between chosen loved ones and people sharing stories they care about together.
